Why they need to fundraise?
Most know that attending a private school usually means paying tuition, which can range from a few thousand dollars a year. In Israel, the vast majority of the Talmud Torah and Yeshivot are classified as private, despite the fact that there are education policies in Israel in which the government contributes to the education and maintenance of educational institutions, but in the case of the religious institutions are called as independent education or educational institutions not officially recognized and that is why they are private.
Let's find out ...
Did you know that in most private schools, tuition does not really cover the total cost of a student's education? It is true, and this discrepancy is often called "the gap", which represents the difference between the actual cost of a private school education per student and the cost of tuition per student. In fact, for many institutions, the gap is so great that it would get them out of business fairly quickly if it were not for donations from loyal members of the school community. Private schools are generally classified as nonprofit organizations and have adequate documentation to operate as such.

Ok, all great information, but you're still wondering where the money goes ... the truth is that the overhead of running a school is pretty big. From the salaries of faculty and staff, which often account for the majority of school expenses, to the maintenance and operations of facilities, daily supplies and even expenditures on food, especially in boarding schools, cash flow It is quite big. Schools also offset their tuition for families who can not afford the full cost with what is called financial aid. This grant money is often financed with operating budgets, but ideally it comes from the envelope (more on this in a moment), which is the result of charitable donations.
That is why we are requesting your kind support to obtain the necessary funds to build the infrastructure that will be the basis of Yeshiva Kinyan HaTorah. Our goal is to increase our physical capacity and the teaching staff to reach more children and continue to help our community.
You can ask us how you can be a partner and build with us a Future.
